MELTRIC partnered with Starkmedia to replatform their website to Magento 2, a user friendly and versatile platform. Although Magento is an e-commerce platform, ecommerce was not enabled for the new site. Magento is open-source, which allows developers to modify or add features to fit a client’s specific needs.
Thanks to the replatform, the MELTRIC website now has a robust product catalog with highly customized faceted search, related products, documentation downloads, and request a quote functionality that allows users to locate products in the selector and add them to a “cart” as part of their lead submission.
New features of the site include literature request forms and download and an international distributor locator. Our team of designers and developers also added WordPress blog integration for managing company news, YouTube embedded video integration, and an application solutions library to connect products to industry usage. With these new features, the new MELTRIC site is a fully functional and customizable online experience for both their internal team and their customers.
